Hi there… my name is Chi Chi! I may look a little wild, but don’t worry, I’m more shy than scary. I’m a Green Bottle Blue Tarantula, which means I have a super cool outfit: bright blue legs, a sparkly green body, and a fiery orange backside Basically… I’m nature’s version of a walking rainbow. I come from dry, desert places where I build big, fluffy webs, not to catch people (yikes), but to help me feel safe and catch my dinner. I LOVE to decorate my home with webbing. You could say I’m an interior designer. Now, let’s clear something up… I’m not mean. I don’t chase people. I don’t want to bite you. If I feel nervous, I’d much rather run and hide than cause any trouble. I'm also very fragile, so, like most tarantulas, we prefer not to be touched. Just admire my lovely appearance and feed me some snacks.
