Wilde Critter Club exists to reconnect kids with the natural world through real animals, real dirt, and real stories, so they grow up curious, capable, empathetic, and a little bit wilde.
About Wilde Critter Club
From after-school programs to birthday parties, camps, and school visits, we bring hands-on animal encounters to life, right where kids already are. Whether it's a bunny at a birthday party or a chicken at STEM night, we want every visit to feel like a small adventure.
As a team, we're dedicated to promoting responsible animal care, outdoor education, and genuine curiosity within our community. Our goal is to create experiences families remember: moments of real connection, real learning, and real joy, away from the screens and out into the wild.
Why We Exist - The Animals
We believe that curiosity and compassion drive lifelong respect for animals. Our mission is to give kids real, hands-on encounters with real animals, the kind of moments that build empathy, patience, and genuine wonder.
Too often, kids only know animals through screens or stuffed toys. We want them to know what a goat actually feels like, how a chicken really moves, what it means to be gentle and quiet around something alive. That kind of learning does not come from a worksheet.
We want every interaction with our critters to leave kids and families more curious, more empathetic, and more connected to the animals we share our world with.
Why We Exist - Kids & Families
Children deserve more than screens and throwaway toys. They deserve real experiences that spark wonder and give them something meaningful to care about. As educators and parents ourselves, we see how hungry kids are for hands-on learning, authentic connection, and reasons to get excited about reading and writing.
There is something different that happens when a kid sits quietly with a chicken, holds a guinea pig for the first time, or watches a axolotl up close. It is not screen time. It is not a toy that gets put down after a week. It is real, and kids feel that difference immediately.
By bringing animals into their world, we create opportunities for curiosity, empathy, and purposeful literacy. Kids want to learn when the learning feels alive, when the story matters, and when the creature they are writing about or reading from is right in front of them. These experiences help build strong hearts, strong minds, and a deeper understanding of the world they share with living animals.
Animal Welfare Commitment
At Wilde Critter Club, the wellbeing of our animals comes first, always. Every animal in our care receives proper habitat, nutrition, enrichment, and daily health checks. We follow responsible handling practices and limit exposure to ensure each animal stays healthy, safe, and stress-free.
They are not props or products, they are living beings that we respect and protect. They are our family. We have hand picked, rescued, and raised most of them from babies, and we expect every family, school, and event we visit to treat them with the same care, love, and respect.
