About Wilde Critter Club

Why We Exist - The Animals

We believe that curiosity and compassion drive lifelong respect for animals. Our mission is to provide hands-on experiences that show what it truly takes to care for a pet, the time, cost, responsibility, and commitment involved.

Too often, animals are purchased impulsively without realistic awareness of their needs. That leads to neglect, unsafe environments, rehoming, or abandonment. By educating kids and families before they rush into pet ownership, we hope to break that cycle by preventing suffering and reducing the number of animals ending up in shelters.

We want every interaction with our critters to leave families more informed, more prepared, and more connected to the animals we share our world with.

Why We Exist - Kids & Families

Children deserve more than screens and throwaway toys. They deserve real experiences that spark wonder and give them something meaningful to care about. As educators and a parents, we see how hungry kids are for hands-on learning, authentic connection, and reasons to get excited about reading and writing.

We also understand the reality many families face. Kids love the idea of a pet, but the responsibility, time, and cost can become overwhelming. Interests change, life gets busy, and animals too often end up neglected, rehomed, or sent to shelters. Wilde Critter Club gives kids the joy of bonding with animals while relieving families of the long-term commitment. It helps everyone learn what responsible pet care truly looks like before taking the leap.

By bringing animals into their world, we create opportunities for curiosity, empathy, and purposeful literacy. Kids want to learn when the learning feels alive, when the story matters, and when the creature they are writing about or reading from is right in front of them. These experiences help build strong hearts, strong minds, and a deeper understanding of the world they share with living animals.

Animal Welfare Commitment

At Wilde Critter Club, the wellbeing of our animals comes first, always. Every animal in our care receives proper habitat, nutrition, enrichment, and daily health checks. We follow responsible handling practices and limit exposure to ensure each animal stays healthy, safe, and stress-free. They are not props or products, they’re living beings that we respect and protect. They are our family. We have hand picked, rescued, and raised most of them from babies, and expect all our customers to treat them with the upmost care, love, and respect.
