Wilde Critter Club LLC

By renting an animal or participating in services provided by Wilde Critter Club LLC (“WCC,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Renter,” “you”) agree to the following:

1. Assumption of All Risks

 

I understand and accept that live animals can behave unpredictably and may cause bites, scratches, allergic reactions, contamination, property damage, or other harm. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any risks or injuries that may occur to any person, property, or other animals during the rental period.

 

I agree that Wilde Critter Club LLC does not assume any risk or liability associated with the animal rental or interaction.

2. Release of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge Wilde Critter Club LLC, including its owners, staff, and partners, from any and all claims, lawsuits, losses, or expenses related to:

• Personal injury or illness

• Property damage

• Emotional distress

• Animal-to-animal interactions

• Allergic reactions or sanitation concerns

This release applies even if the incident is unexpected or the animal acts in a way not previously observed.

 

I agree not to pursue any legal action against Wilde Critter Club LLC for any reason related to the rental or services provided.

3. Safe Environment & Care Requirements

 

I agree to provide a safe, climate-controlled, and secure environment for the animal at all times, including:

 

• Keeping the animal indoors unless otherwise instructed

• Keeping the animal away from extreme temperatures, drafts, or direct sunlight

• Proper and continuous use of any heat lamps, UVB lighting, or humidity equipment provided

• Ensuring no access to toxic plants, chemicals, scented candles, air fresheners, or unsafe objects

 

If weather causes unsafe home conditions (AC/heater failure, storm damage, etc.), I will immediately contact Wilde Critter Club.

Home Environment Verification & Pickup Inspection:

 

Wilde Critter Club LLC reserves the right to request photos or conduct a brief home setup check upon delivery or during the rental period to ensure the animal is being housed safely and in accordance with care guidelines.

 

For repeat renters or if any concerns arise regarding animal care, Wilde Critter Club LLC may perform a follow-up inspection at pickup. If the environment is deemed unsafe or if care requirements are not being followed, Wilde Critter Club LLC may immediately remove the animal without refund and may prohibit future rentals.

 

4. Other Pets in the Home

 

I agree to disclose all animals living in or visiting the home prior to rental delivery.

I am responsible for preventing all direct or indirect contact between the rental animal and:

 

• Household pets (dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds, etc.)

• Visiting animals

• Wild or outdoor animals

 

Any interaction is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by Wilde Critter Club LLC.

 

5. Supervision Requirements

 

The animal will:

 

• Not be left unattended with children

• Be handled only as permitted and in accordance with the care guide provided by Wilde Critter Club LLC

• Be monitored during all feeding or enrichment activities

 

Children interacting with animals must be supervised by an adult at all times.

6. Damage, Loss, or Injury to Animal

 

I am responsible for the full cost of veterinary care or replacement if the animal is:

• Lost or escapes

• Injured in any way

• Killed

• Subjected to negligent care or unsafe environments

 

Fees vary by species and may range from $50–$500 minimum.

​

If at any time Wilde Critter Club reasonably suspects animal abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions, including but not limited to:

 

• Injury without proper notification

• Failure to follow required care instructions

• Exposure to known hazards or predators

• Deprivation of food, water, temperature control, or safe shelter

 

Wilde Critter Club LLC may immediately retrieve the animal without refund and may:

 

• Contact local animal welfare authorities

• Report conditions as animal cruelty under Texas law

• Pursue legal actions and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law

7. Equipment Condition & Use

 

All included habitat items, lighting, dishes, enrichment, and instructions must be:

​​

• Set up and used as instructed

• Plugged into a safe and reliable power source

• Returned in the same working condition

 

If any item is lost, damaged, or unusable upon return, replacement costs will be billed to the Renter at current retail value.

8. No Transfer of Ownership

 

The animal and all provided equipment remain the property of Wilde Critter Club LLC at all times. Animals may not be sold, gifted, re-homed, abandoned, or released into the wild.

 

If the rental is not properly returned on time, additional late fees or retrieval fees may apply.  Additionally, the animal and equipment must be returned on the scheduled date and time agreed upon.

 

If the animal is not returned as required and communication attempts are ignored, Wilde Critter Club LLC reserves the right to:

 

• Report the animal as stolen property

• Pursue criminal and civil theft charges

• Recover all costs associated with retrieval, legal action, and replacement

9. Emergency Notifications

 

If the animal appears sick, stressed, or injured, or if care equipment fails, I agree to contact Wilde Critter Club immediately for guidance.

10. Certification of Age & Authority

 

By signing, I certify that I am at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement on behalf of myself and any children in my care.

 

 

Agreement & Acknowledgment

 

By checking the acceptance box and/or signing digitally, I confirm that:

 

• I have read and understand this entire agreement

• I voluntarily accept all risks and responsibilities

• I agree to all rules and terms set by Wilde Critter Club LLC
