Giant African Millipedes • Gentle Giants • Slow-Motion Besties Hi! We’re Razzle and Dazzle, two giant African millipedes who look a little like walking licorice sticks with legs. Lots of legs. We move slowly, curl up when surprised, and love exploring together like a pair of quiet little tanks. We might look big, but we’re some of the gentlest critters around. We don’t bite, we don’t sting, and we prefer calm handling with soft hands. Most of the time you’ll find us munching on leaves, digging around in the soil, or doing our favorite activity, the “millipede shuffle,” which is just fancy talk for walking in a straight line very slowly.
