Chip & Dale

We are Chip and Dale, two energetic degu brothers who love to run, climb, and chew anything safe we can get our paws on. We are always on the move and always curious. If you hear the sound of tiny feet racing on a wheel, that is definitely us training for the Degu Olympics.
 
Chip is the confident leader who wants to explore everything first. Dale is the thoughtful sidekick who sticks close and keeps things running smoothly. We are playful, social, and happiest when we have lots to do. We love to chatter at each other (and you) using our special degu language.

Degus are highly social and live in groups called “clans.”
We have strong teeth that never stop growing, so we always need things to chew.
We are most active during the day, which makes us great animal friends for kids to observe.
We communicate with lots of different chirps, squeaks, and grumbles.
